Homemade Granola

Simply place into a bowl, stir and then into oven to cook! It’s doesn’t get much easier than that. 

You can be really flexible with ingredients and add whatever nuts/seeds/dried fruit you like. 

Serve with yogurt and berries, on top of Acai or just eat straight from the jar

Homemade granola is really one of the most simple and easy things you can make and can use whatever ingredients you love or have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup pepitas
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 Tbs maple syrup
  • 3 Tbs coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 - 1/2 cup depend fruit (optional)

Instructions

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180
  2. Add all ingredients into bowl except dried fruit. Mix together and then spread on large baking tray. Place into oven for 10 mins then stir. Place back into oven for 5 mins and then stir again. If golden enough remove from oven or give 5 more mins to cook.
  3. Add fruit once removed from oven, stir and let cool
  4. Place into glass jar or air tight container
  5. Serve with yoghurt and fruit, on top of Acai or however you like
