Homemade Burger Rissoles
The perfect rissoles/burgers that will quickly become a family favourite. Made every time we have a big family gathering without fail. We often have burger nights with friends and make massive batches of these.
You can be flexible with what sauces and herbs you use, whatever you have (even dried herbs are good when you don’t have fresh) I like to use fresh bread crumbs but packet ones also work.
I really hope you give these a try for your next burger night.

These are a huge family favourite. Made every time we have a big family gathering without fail.
Ingredients
Rissoles
- 500g beef mince
- 500g pork mince
- 85 bread or bread crumbs
- 100g cheese
- 1 brown onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, parsley)
- 40g tomato sauce
- 30g bbq sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
Method
- Add bread, cheese, onion, garlic and herbs into Thermomix or food processor and chop until minced (you can also grate and chop by hand)
- Add to a large bowl along with all other ingredients and mix together with your hands (little tip, take mince out of fridge 30 mins before so not as cold)
- Form into burger patties whatever size you want but try not to make too big otherwise they can fall apart when cooking. I make 15 rissoles with this batch.
- Cook on a medium heat until juicy, crispy and golden.
Notes
Serve on a bread roll with your choice of burger additions and sauce! Yum!
