Delicious Acai Bowl

Acai has had been a deep obsession this Summer! The best thing is it is soo easy to make at home and sooooo much cheaper! 

You’ll need a Thermomix or good blender to be able to blend all together. Throw it all in, blend and serve. 

We always have all the ingredients in the house so easy to throw together for a breaky or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 x 100g packets frozen Acai - broken in half
  • 1/4 cup juice - cranberry, apple or tropical
  • 1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 3/4 cup frozen berries

Instructions

Thermomix Method
  1. Get out granola and all your fruit that you will use to top and get sliced and ready. Get out your bowls and spoons (you want to be ready to serve as will start to melt pretty quickly)
  2. Place all ingredients on order listed above into Thermomix or high powered blender
  3. Blitz on high speed for 10 seconds. You will probably need to open lid and push down ingredients a few times to bring together. Try not to add more liquid or will get too thin.
  4. Once all blended together and smooth, place into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings and enjoy straight away

Notes

We buy poppers/juice boxes for the juice so not needing a big bottle each time and much more cost effective.
